This cover summarizes everything that I was trained to do. A board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon is a hand surgeon, cosmetic surgeon, trauma surgeon, facial fracture surgeon, microsurgeon, nerve surgeon, cleft palate surgeon, burn surgeon, breast surgeon, genital surgeon, skin cancer surgeon, craniofacial surgeon, nose, ear, eyes and face surgeon…. This is why I love this field.. this is why a plastic surgeon can operate head to toe. This is why plastic and reconstructive surgery residencies take 6 years to complete.
